As I said in my last blog, I have been spending tons of time playing Animal Crossing New Leaf recently, and a lot of that time is spent redecorating my home and my character! My favorite clothes have always been the kimonos and with the addition of the QR code in New Leaf we have tons of beautiful custom designed kimono patterns available from the internet. I thought I would make a few lists sharing my favorite QR codes so here is the first! The top ten (in my opinion) ACNL kimono QR codes!
Start the count down!
#10.
We'll start our list at number ten with a light and pretty springtime kimono.
#9.
Number nine is a beautiful and very detailed traditional dark kimono.
#8.
Number eight is, in my opinion, the perfect feminine festival kimono, just the right balance of bubbly and grown up!
#7.
Number seven is a cute short sleeved kimono that gives a sense of girlish charm to your character, while still bringing to mind springtime cherry blossoms and festivals.
#6.
Number six is a dark kimono that brings to mind images of nighttime skies, maybe summer nights full of fireflies :) Beautiful!
#5.
Number five is an elegant dark kimono, in my un-knowing American opinion it seems very traditional and with a beautiful accent to the right side giving it extra interest!
#4.
Number four on our list is "Lan-Mao Chipao" I haven't seen what this is from, but I love the design and I can say that it was beautifully executed! The colors are very cool with a relaxed pattern for a nice laid back design.
#3.
Number three on this list is simply titled "kimono" and its the simplicity of this design that I love! Just enough detail to give it interest without the full patterns of the other designs, it makes it a great design that I can see myself using for a long time to come :)
#2.
Number two on the list is this beautiful orange kimono! It might be a bit bright for some people but orange is my favorite color which pretty much means it has to get a place high up on this list. I love those bright fall colors!
#1.
And finally number one on the list is Mulan's kimono, from the Disney movie Mulan! This one will probably be featured again at some point when I share all the Disney Princess dresses people have made, but this is my favorite kimono of all time and deserves a top spot on this list!
So what do you think? Do you have some designs you like more than these? Have you designed some yourself? Please share!
Kimono patterns seem a bit hard to find so I would love to see your favorites! Comment a link below and I will post them with credit to you!

Mulan's clothes is not a kimono at all. It's called a hanfu, a traditional Chinese clothing since she's from China. The hanfu influenced the Japanese kimono, that's why they look similar but are actually two different things. ^_^ As a Chinese person, I always feel a bit let down when people confuse these two. :(

It's pretty easy to find and credit the artists for all of these, #8 was by http://sinreiinfinity.blog33.fc2.com/blog-entry-86.html and she actually says NOT to reblog/repost without permission and credit! SO please PLEASE take the time to give credit to people who work hard on these!
